My brother, Ross, and I have been attending the celebration in Cambria on the 4th of July for our whole lives. We love being part of the festivities and both of us have taken on some of the planning responsibilities for this event to make sure it keeps going. One thing we have added to the Cambria 4th of July Celebration is “Music in the Park”. It is so much fun to see the community gather in the park for music. People bring their lawn chairs, coolers, golf carts, and friends to come enjoy the music.
This year DD & Rosco will be playing music, along with a special guest. Tanner Stark, whose dad grew up in Cambria, will be opening for us with some of his favorite songs at 4:00. I’m excited to hear him play, especially since he’s a descendant of Cambria! Then Ross and I will take the stage until 6:00. “Stage” is actually a pretty generous term. We usually use a hay wagon as the stage, which is a lot of fun and just really adds to the small-town feel! This year “Fred’s Dogs” will be at the event with hot dogs, chips, and pop available for purchase.
This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome to attend. See you on the 4th!!
